To all the residents in Robinsonville .....

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called FAILURE, a loop called CONFUSION,

speed bumps called FRIENDS, red lights called ENEMIES, caution lights called FAMILY.

You will have flats called JOBS. But, if you have a spare called DETERMINATION,

an engine called PERSEVERANCE, insurance called FAITH, a driver called JESUS,

you will make it to a placed called SUCCESS..

Tunica County NAACP Fights for Robinsonville Community Center

For many years District 1 Supervisor James Dunn and the community have been fighting with other Board of Supervisors about their

needs in the Robinsonville area..We are tired of all the lip service that we receive and have decided to take our fight to the local media so the

community can see what their local government is doing for them. The men that were elected to serve the people of Tunica County

are doing nothing. It's time to step up to the plate and do what you were elected to do or get out of office and let someone

in that does care about our community.

The Graduate Appreciation Project

The NAACP Youth & College Division is excited to launch the “The Graduate Appreciation Project”.  The purpose of the project is to engage teenagers and young adults to continue their involvement with the NAACP upon graduation from high school or college.  The Division will convene a conference call in June with graduating high school seniors and college graduates to acknowledge and celebrate their success as well as explore opportunities for further involvement in the advocacy agenda of the NAACP.  NAACP leadership and special celebrity guest will be on hand to talk with the graduates and additional opportunities for engagement will be available.
